Dr. Tania Hernandez grew up in Wilbraham, Massachusetts and obtained her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. She obtained her Medical Degree, completed her pediatric residency and specialized in Neonatal Medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. She is board certified in Pediatrics.
She currently works in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Southwest General Hospital where she serves as the Associate Medical Director. Dr. Hernandez is committed to improving the safety and well being of infants and families in the community.
She serves as a founding Board Member for Baby Education for South Texas.
